Where To Go In Thailand?

Bangpoo Resort is the right place where you can watch and touch hundreds of gulls hovering around you. In early November of every year there are gulls from Siberia move to Thailand and live in the mangrove forest by the beach in Samut Prakan Province next to Bangkok.

You can watch them during November to April or may be longer. You can walk on the bridge leading to the sea for birding. Gulls will fly around you, over and over again. You can feed them by hand and they will take it from your without fear or you can throw some of foods into the air then they can get it as well, if they miss those foods the luck will belong to Gulls that floating on the sea, sometime they dive into the sea to get foods drop down and sink below. It's amazing. You can also shoot them closely and sunset can be a nice background.

After enjoy birding, feeding and taking photos it's time to eat the great Thai seafood. The end of the bridge is a restaurant, 'Sala Sookjai ' located in the sea, enjoy the great dinner in a nice place where you can also watching sunset, Gulls and cargo vessels on the Estuary of Thai Gulf. How to Get There: 

By driving or taxi (Public bus is unavailable)

Bangpoo Resort is away from Suvarnabhumi International Airport only 30 km or 44 minutes drive.

Get taxi:

Tell them in Thai that "Pai Tak-ar-gard Bangpoo" (Go to Bangpoo Resort)

Driving Car/Motorbike yourself:

If it is provided GPS or Navitor you just type the destination 'Bangpoo Resort, Mueang Samut, Prakan District, Samut Prakan,Thailand Bangpoo Resort Map

Samut Prakan also have other interesting places waiting for you to visit such as: 

1. The Erawan Museum, Sukhumvit Rd., Bang Muang Mai.

2. Crocodile Farm, Sukhumvit Rd., Tai Ban.

3. Ancient City, Sukhumvit Rd., Bang Poo.
